Father and Son: Selfless Love
A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?'. The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'. They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.' To which, his father said 'Yes' too. For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island .
Father and son went on to complete the race together.

A Promise
One afternoon Chuck and I met with Eya and Davey to update Eya on the progress of the Art Expo. We were kinda worried on what will happen or if we can really push through with it.

Wedding Post #1: Motif
Hay! It's already July and I haven't decided on the final motif yet. It started with chocolate brown.
Although it looks classy and elegant. But, parang may kulang... ahh! Accent! Baby Blue, Tiffany Blue, Green, Pink? Ahh! Tiffany Blue kasi I love Tiffany & Co. (nyeh!)
Ay parang ang gloomy? Diba? Half half na lang kaya? Ganun pa din. Tiffany Blue and White kaya? Tiffany Blue and Silver? Tiffany Blue and Platinum?
Nice. More refreshing. But parang mas bagay sa beach wedding? Ahh! Tiffany Blue, Platinum and Brown.

Serena: I really want to trust you when you say those words, Dan, so maybe if I knew why, I'd stop being so scared of hearing them and afraid to say them.

Dan: There. that's why. Because I actually like it when you interrupt me, which is often, by the way. I love you because you make no apologies about being exactly who you are... Beautiful, smart, sexy as hell.
Serena: Now you're embarrassing me.
Dan: That's another reason. You're completely unaware of your affect on me. You're also completely unaware that you laugh like a 4 year old. (Serena laughs) Just like that. And I love you because you can be with someone like me and still be best friends with someone like Blair.
Serena:: Yeah, well, I tried to be.
Dan: I know you do, and that's not easy, but you never give up on her. That is how amazing you are.
Serena: Well, you're amazing, too, for being able to say all of those things, you just are. (They kiss) And I love you... But I have to go.
Dan: What? what--what is it this time?
Serena: One of the many reasons you love me. (Blows Dan a kiss)

Extra Challenge!
Yesterday was a very challenging day for me. I felt strongly the struggle between my flesh and my spirit. When faced with situations that are not part of our plans I guess it's our flesh speaking whenever we try to resist and question. It is in these times that we fail to see, or refuse to see, the hand of God working in our lives. It is in these unguarded times also that we discover what is truly in our hearts.
It’s really humbling when the Lord exposes the true condition of your heart. And you really just have to submit and humbly accept the Lord’s discipline and purification.
I really praise the Lord for His grace, His abundant, amazing grace.
And He said to me, “My GRACE is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
